JUNE 2016

June 6 - 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Muskoka Family Network Monthly Connections. A gathering of the Muskoka Family Network. We welcome you to join us. What is the Muskoka Family Network? It is for families and friends touched by a disability to come together. It is all about connecting families with each other. We can encourage family to family learning, enhance community relationships, deepen our own relationships, build leadership capacity, create mentorship between families, share resources, create lasting relationships with families as our children age and create new relationships with other families. June 19 - 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Bracebridge BIA Annual Father's Day Car Show in Downtown Bracebridge, Manitoba St.  If you have a passion for cars, a visit to Muskoka's Downtown is a must on Father's Day! Over 150 special interest vehicles, live music and great food will be spread along Manitoba Street from 9am to 3pm. July 8 - 10 - The 32nd Annual Muskoka Pioneer Power Show at J.D. Lang Activity Park (a.k.a. The Bracebridge Fairgrounds), 131 Fraserburg Rd.  This year’s event will mark the 32nd annual show. The theme is Allis Chambers Collectors & Restorers Club Popular features at the show include heritage display rooms, waterous saw mill demonstrations, Mowry shingle mill, log cabin, blacksmith shop, Linn tractor, engine displays, country store, lawn, and antique tractor pulls, classic & antique vehicles, engine displays and a Grand Parade on Sat. (All Colours & Large Equipment Welcome) Tractor games, camping sites, vendors & free kid games. Food and beverages available at on-ground concessions. Consider coming out to this great community event!
Event Schedule: Gates open Fri. 5:00 pm, Sat. 7:00 am and Sun. 7:00 am. Free parking. LAWN TRACTOR PULLS – FRIDAY NIGHT ANTIQUE TRACTOR PULLS – SATURDAY PANCAKE & SAUSAGE / PEAMEAL BREAKFAST – 7:00 – 10:00 AM (SAT & SUN) STEAK DINNER – SATURDAY NIGHT OLD TIME SQUARE DANCE – SATURDAY @ 8:00 PM; Admission: $10.00 per person, $15.00 per couple.  Event Admission: Admission $5.00. July 15 - 17 - The 54th Annual Muskoka Arts & Crafts Summer Show.  Muskoka's oldest and largest outdoor art show.  Sent in a beautiful park, the Summer Show features 200 creative artists from across Canada.  Approximately 20,000 enthusiastic people visit the Summer Show to meet the makers and see their work.  Location: Annie Williams Memorial Park, 50 Santa's Village Rd., Bracebridge.  Fri. 10am-7pm, Sat. & Sun. 10am-5pm.  This is a smoke-free event.  Admission by donation.  (705) 645-5501  www.muskokaartsandcrafts.com  info@muskokaartsandcrafts.com

July 29 - 6:00 p.m. - Midnight - Bracebridge BIA Annual Midnight Madness Street Festival in Downtown Bracebridge, Manitoba St. Don't miss this night full of fun and excitement and bargains galore!
