July 1 - HBC Run for Canada at Algonquin Park. Join friends, family and thousands of other proud Canadians and get a running start on your Canada Day celebrations. July 5 - One Eventful Day.  Two Extraordinary Triumphs.  On July 5th An Event That Will Change You, And The Lives of Others.  In 2004, Joe Finley began a difficult fight with cancer, a battle that he is very much fighting today.  Despite the physical and emotional toll of an extremely aggressive cancer treatment (or perhaps, some say, because of it), Joe fulfilled a life-long objective in August 2006 - he completed his first triathlon.  Crossing the finish line was just the beginning for Joe.  He has now teamed up with The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation to create "Joe's Team", an innovative cancer fundraising initiative.  Join Joe and the team in Muskoka on Sat. Aug. 10 - Over the past  years, HSBC Triathlon Series has become the fastest growing Triathlon Series in Canada. Multisport Canada is now bringing this successful series to Bracebridge with the 1/2 Iron Distance Event.  Happening Aug. 10, 2008 in beautiful Annie Williams Park, Bracebridge will host to upwards of 1,000 athletes.  The course will include a 200 metre swim followed by a 90 kilometre bike ride and finishes up with a 21.1 kilometre run.  For more information on this exciting event, or to register visit www.multisportcanada.com and click on the Bracebridge link.
