This year there are 25 Walks talking place across Ontario thanks to dedicated volunteers like you. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a rapidly progressive and fatal neuromuscular disease that kills 2-3 Canadians every day. Most people with ALS die within 2-5 years of diagnosis. There is no known cause, cure or treatment for ALS. We walk to raise funds for equipment and services for people living with ALS as well as research to find a cure.
